Notes from the 2017 Women’s March

I marched in New York with my BFF Louise and her granddaughter Zoe. My daughter Carrie and her son, Levi, marched in LA. We tweeted each other across the country and across generations. As a part of feminist history forever, the march was an energizing and inspiring experience.

Susan Rose served for eight years on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors and is the former executive director of the Los Angeles City Commission on the Status of Women.
